ASRY Stabilising, Board Meeting Confirms

HIDD: ASRY, the Arabian Gulf’s leading maritime repair and fabrication facility, has held its 154th Board Meeting on Thursday 13th December 2018 at ASRY’s Headquarters, under the chairmanship of H.E. Shaikh Daij Bin Salman Bin Daij Al Khalifa – Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Chairman H.E. Shaikh Daij Bin Salman Bin Daij Al Khalifa made the following statement: “Throughout 2018, ASRY has continued to stabilize following previous years instability. Revenue targets that were set last year have been met, and while market conditions remain very challenging, the operational and financial restructuring of the company are solidifying its foundations. There is encouraging progress being made, especially in Safety culture and market penetration. With the pipeline looking optimistic for 2019, focus will remain on delivering projects to the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.”

Following the Board of Directors instructions, the executive management has been implementing a corporate strategy to ensure the company remains a sustainable employer for the foreseeable future. Multiple initiatives have been launched and are underway to reduce the company’s costs, including all departments, to improve the efficiency of the various services it provides to its domestic, regional and international customers. It has also taken many practical steps to ensure safety, health, environmental protection, and services improvement which is reflected positively in the overall results of the current year.
